Permissions dashboards provide information about permissions granted to users for a given document.

If changes are made to any dashboard (filters are edited or customizations made), these changes can be saved to a new dashboard. see Save a dashboard for more information.

Click Analytics () from the Document panel on the left. Then click the Permissions filter in the Analytics Navigation panel:

Default Permissions dashboards

  • Direkte Berechtigungen: eine Liste aller Dokumente, die direkt mit bestimmten Benutzern oder Teams geteilt werden.

This dashboard contains a single table visual that lists all documents inside any project or folder that are directly shared to users or teams. It does not include documents that are not inside a project or folder.

Filter controls

  • Document - Document name

  • Document type - Document or Publication

  • Project - Project name

  • Folder - Document folder path

  • Permission given to - Name of the user or team to which permission is granted

  • Permission given date - Date, date range, or period of time permission was granted to the user or team

  • Permissions source - Source where permission was granted; for example, Folder document - Direct user permission or Project document - direct user permission

  • User or Team ID - User or Team ID value

  • Document ID - Document ID value

  • User - User name

  • Shared with Onshape support - Whether the document was shared with Onshape support; Yes or No

  • Link shared - Whether the document was shared via link sharing; Yes or No

  • Email - User email address

  • Document - Document name

  • Project - Project name

  • Folder - Document folder path

  • Permission given to - Name of the user to which permission is given

  • Direct permission source - Source from which permission was granted; for example, Folder document - Direct user permission or Project document - direct user permission

  • Permissions - User or team permissions

  • Permission given by - Name of the user who granted permission

  • Anonymous access - Whether the user has anonymous access; Yes or No

  • Shared with Onshape support - Whether the document was shared with Onshape support: Yes or No

  • Permission given date - Date and time document permission was granted to the user

Filter controls

  • Document - Document name

  • Document ID - Document ID value

  • Document type - Document or Publication

  • User - User email address

  • User ID - User ID value

  • User Status - Admin, Guest, or Member

  • Permission - permission granted; for example, Edit, View, View (Comment), or All permissions

  • Permission source - Source from which the permission was granted; for example, Document - Team: Reviewer team, or Project - User: Configured releases: Project administrators

  • Permission source type - Source type from which the permission was granted; for example, Document - Team or Folder - User.

  • Project - Project name

  • Folder - Document folder path

  • Team - Team name

Visual columns

  • Document - Document name

  • Path - Document folder path

  • User/Team - User or team name

  • Permissions - User or team permissions

  • Permission since - Date since permission was granted

  • Permission source - Source from which the permission was granted; for example, Document - User, or Folder - User: : prt

This dashboard displays a summary of all project, folder, and document permissions assigned in the enterprise and shared with support. This dashboard is unfiltered.

  • Shares (last 30 days) - Count visual displaying number of shares in the last 30 days

  • Folders shared directly - Count visual displaying number of folders shared directly

  • Documents shared directly - Count visual displaying number of documents shared directly

  • Link shared documents - Count visual displaying number of documents shared via link sharing

  • Shared with support - Count visual displaying number of documents shared with support

  • Project permission summary - Table visual displaying project permission. Columns are Project, Number of documents, Users with edit permissions, Users with view permission, Links shared directly, and Documents shared directly.

  • User permission summary - Table visual displaying user permission. Columns are User, Number of projects, Number of folders, Number of documents, and Number of direct permissions.

  • Folder permission summary - Table visual displaying folder permission. Columns are Folder, Number of documents, Users with edit permissions, Users with view permissions, Links shared directly, and Documents shared directly.

  • Direct permissions summary - Table visual displaying direct permissions. Columns are Direct permission source, Projects with direct permissions, Folders with direct permissions, Documents with direct permissions, Teams with direct permissions, and Users with direct permissions.
