Add spline control points along a spline or bezier control polygon.

Steps

  1. Click Spline point tool icon.
  2. Click anywhere along a spline or bezier control polygon to add control points to it.
  3. Drag the control points to modify the spline or bezier.

The Spline control point is part of the spline definition and has a set magnitude that drives the shape of the spline. Moving the control point also moves the spline in tandem. This is different than a sketch Point coincident to the spline. A sketch Point is not part of the spline and only sets a point at which the spline lengthens to meet the constraint.

When the spline is not being adjusted, sketch points are white with a blue border, while spline control points are always solid blue.

For more information about splines, tangency handles (the white points), and creating splines, see Spline. For more information about bezier curves and bezier control polygons, see Bezier.
