This direct editing tool is especially convenient if you do not have the parametric history of the part, as is often the case with an imported part. To replace a face, select the Replace face command on the toolbar, then select the Faces to replace. Click the Surface to replace with field in the dialog, and then select the Surface to replace with in the graphics area. Check Flip alignment to change the face being replaced by to an opposing face. The default replacement face is the one closest to the face being replaced. Enter an Offset distance numerically in the dialog, or move the orange arrow in the graphics area. Use the Opposite direction arrow to reverse the offset direction. Click the green checkmark to accept the replaced face.
