Action Items Reports
Action items reports summarize the comments and tasks for a specific user, and a summary for all users in an enterprise, in a specified timeframe.
Access Action Items reports by:
- Select Analytics from the title bar.
- Select the Action Items filter in the left pane.
- Select the specific report in the list.
Action Items reports include:
- Action Items - Lists of all comments and general tasks assigned to the user.
- Action Items Summary - A dashboard displaying a summary of all the comments and general tasks assigned in the enterprise.
Across the top of the dashboard are the filters:
- Created - The date, date range, or period of time in which to search
- Created by - The name, user ID, or email of a specific user or users
- Assignee - The email of the user to which the action item is assigned
- State - The state of the action item: Open, Complete, Discarded
- Type - Comment/General
- Due -Yes/No - Indicating if the action item has a due date assigned
- Project - The name of a project within the enterprise
- Team - A team within the enterprise
Optionally, save the dashboard using the dropdown options at the top of the interface (above the dashboard filters):
Below the statistics are individual reports, including:
- Assignee - The email of the user to which the action item is assigned.
- Name - The name given to the action item.
- Description - The description of the action item.
- Type - The type of the action item: General or Comment.
- Created date - The date the action item was created.
- Created by - The name, user ID, or email of the user who created the action item.
- Due date - The date the action item is due to be completed.
- Resolved date - The date the action item is resolved.
- Part references - Any parts referenced by the action item.
- Priority - The importance signified for the action item.
The Action Items Summary displays a dashboard showing:
- Tasks - The number of outstanding tasks
- Open - The number of tasks with the state Open
- Completed - The number of tasks with the state Completed
- Overdue - The number of tasks with the state Overdue
- Workload - The assignee names and their respective workload percent
- Contributors - A table listing assignees and their respective Complete and Open task counts
- Overdue items - A table listing overdue tasks, including name, description, due date, and assignee
- Upcoming - A table listing upcoming tasks, including assignee, name, due date, and workload percent.
Filters
Use the Filters control at the top left of the report to refine the report. See Controls available within dashboards for more information.
