In this mode, you can hover over or select instances in the graphics area or Instances list to show the mates for that instance.

With Show Mates mode enabled, you are able to hover over or select instances in the graphics area or Instances list to show the Mates for that instance. To enable Show Mates, click the Show Mates feature tool on the toolbar. Hover over the instances in the graphics area to reveal related Mates. Alternatively, hover over the Instances list to reveal related Mates.

  1. Click Show Mates feature tool icon to toggle on (highlighted when on).
  2. Hover over a part or subassembly in the graphics area and any mates will automatically become visible. You are also able to hover over the part or subassembly in Instances list to produce the same result.
  3. Click Show Mates feature tool icon to toggle off.

You are also able to right click on the part or subassembly in the graphics area and select Show mates.
