This functionality is currently available only on Onshape's browser platform.

Activate the keyboard shortcuts map right in the user interface by pressing Shift+? on your keyboard when in a document. You can even pop it out of the window for continuous display. You can access the shortcuts from anywhere in the product by clicking the Help icon in the upper right of the window and selecting Keyboard shortcuts:

General


shift + ?

Opens the list of Keyboard Shortcuts and Hotkeys.

ctrl + z or ⌘ + z

Undoes recent activity within the document session. Can be used consecutively as needed.

ctrl + y

Redoes recently undone activity within the document session. Can be used consecutively as needed.

delete

Removes selected features.

space bar

Deselects selected feature(s).

` [apostrophe]

Opens a list of entities that can be selected relative to where the cursor is. Selected entities will be highlighted in addition to currently highlighted entities.

shift + n

Prompts for a new name of a selected Instance of Feature.

esc

Exits the command in use.

enter

Commits the command in use.

shift + enter

Commits the command, and opens another dialog of the same command.

alt + c

Opens the Search tools bar in the top right of page, prompts cursor to search bar.

s

Opens shortcut toolbar at the mouse cursor location.

ctrl + u

Opens the Contact Support form.

alt + t

Opens the Tab Manager.

ctrl + space bar

Switches between recently opened tabs in a single session. These can include Drawings, Assemblies, and Part Studios.

Sketch


shift

Suppresses automatic inferences when moving or placing sketch entities.

Selects or exits the Line tool. Requires for a sketch plane to have been selected.

Selects or exits the Corner rectangle tool. Requires for a sketch plane to have been selected.

Opens Extrude feature while working on a sketch. If there is no sketch open, Extrude feature allows for a face or sketch to be selected.

shift + f

Opens Edge in Fillet dialog.

ctrl + m

Opens On entity in the Mate connector dialog.

shift

Locks currently visible Mate connector points. Mate connector dialog must be active.

a

Flips direction of primary axis. Mate connector must be preselected.

q

Reorients secondary axis 90 degrees. Mate connector must be preselected.

k

Shows or hides Mate connectors.

Assembly


shift

Locks currently visible Mate connector points while placing a Mate connector in the mate or Mate connector dialog.

Copies selected feature.

Pastes copied feature. Can be used consecutively as many times as needed.

Opens Fasten mate dialog.

Fine rotation. Rotates the design by 5 degrees to the left, right, top, and bottom.

Moves the design up, down, left, and right.

shift + 1

Displays the front view of the design.

shift + 2

Displays the back view of the design.

Repositions the design to be parallel to the screen. Must preselect or hover on the plane or face.

Opens the Section view dialog. Multiple planes can be selected.

Hides selected or hovered instance(s) in the Instance list.

Drawings
