Project roles and Permission schemes work in tandem to apply access permission to documents grouped together within a Project. A Project references only one Permission scheme, which is comprised of Project roles specifying the permissions. Permission schemes are a named table of Role-Permission set pairs.

To navigate to your Permission scheme settings in Onshape, click on your Account user icon () in the top right corner of your Onshape window. This opens a dropdown menu. Click Company/Classroom/Enterprise settings.

Click Permission schemes in the list on the left side of the page:
